A Historic Opening: NBSTC's 38th Annual Conference, Keynoted by Maryland's Attorney General

The air was ripe with anticipation as members of the National Black State Troopers Coalition (NBSTC) gathered for their 38th Annual Conference. Adding an extra layer of excitement to the proceedings was the event’s special keynote speaker, Maryland's Attorney General Anthony Brown. His reputation as a dedicated public servant and an articulate, inspiring speaker set the stage for a memorable kickoff.


The purpose of the NBSTC Annual Conference is multifold. It serves as a platform for Black state troopers from across the nation to engage in critical dialogues, share experiences, and advocate for their collective interests. A key aim of the conference is to address the unique challenges faced by Black officers and to promote policies that foster equity, diversity, and inclusion within state police forces.
