The National Black State Troopers Coalition is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting State Troopers and public-safety professionals through training, leadership development, and community service. We were founded to uplift minority troopers, and today our mission has expanded to welcome anyone in public safety who shares our commitment to professionalism, integrity, and community impact.
Membership is open to current, retired, or former State Troopers, as well as public-safety professionals such as sworn law enforcement, civilian LE staff, first responders, DoD personnel, and members of the emergency-sector community. We also welcome corporate and organizational partners who want to support our mission and engage with our national network.
Because NBSTC gives you gives you opportunity. You gain access to real training that advances your career, a national network that supports you, and a community that understands your experience. You become part of a legacy built by troopers who stood together to open doors, and part of a future focused on growth, leadership, and impact. If you want to strengthen your career, your connections, and your voice, this is where you belong.
Members gain access to professional training, leadership development, community outreach opportunities, and our flagship event—the Annual Summer Training Conference. This conference is our biggest gathering of the year and brings together law enforcement, law-enforcement leaders, trainers, vendors, and community partners for a week of high-level instruction, networking, and collaboration. Members also receive updates, invitations to events, and opportunities to participate in programs that strengthen both careers and communities.
NBSTC offers a variety of leadership courses, policing and public-safety training, online workshops, and sessions led by experienced subject-matter experts. Our goal is to help members grow as professionals, strengthen their skills, and stay connected to national best practices in public safety.
