🚔 Honoring Master Trooper Stien Davis Jr. 🕊️ 🙏

The NBSTC mourns the death of an on-duty North Carolina state trooper who died in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning.

The incident occurred shortly after midnight on NC-130 when Master Trooper Stien Davis, Jr. lost control of his patrol car, veered off the road, and overturned in a swampy area.

Master Trooper Davis, a graduate of the 141st Basic Patrol School, served with distinction in Robeson County and across the state.

Gov. Josh Stein released a statement following Davis’ death. “My heart goes out this morning to the family of Master Trooper Stien Davis, the NC State Highway Patrol, and the entire law enforcement community mourning the loss of a son, a friend, and a colleague,” Stein said. “I’ve offered Colonel Johnson any support the Patrol may need during this difficult time.”

Law enforcement agencies and emergency crews across eastern North Carolina also shared messages of condolence, honoring Davis’ service and expressing support for his family and fellow troopers.
