Greetings,

I am Tammye R. Broughton.  I am the current Secretary of the National Black State Troopers Coalition, Inc.  I have been a trooper with the Florida Highway Patrol for 24 years.  During my career I have worked in the Bureau of Investigations concentrating on driver license fraud and identity theft.  I am a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician and Field Training Officer patrolling South Miami-Dade County. I am also the current secretary of my local chapter, The Florida Coalition of Black State Troopers.  I have served in this capacity for many years.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the words of encouragement given after the recent election.  My ultimate goal as secretary is to keep the lines of communication open between ALL of the NBSTC Chapters and the National board members.  We are serving for the good of the organization and not for the good of any one individual.

Transition:  The audit of the financial records is still incomplete.  However, the new Treasurer and Financial Secretary have ensured the president that this time consuming process will be completed to the best of their abilities. Continue to send all dues, updated membership list and correspondences to:
