When I joined this organization, I asked myself, “How I can contribute to the advancement of its goals and objectives?” I never thought that one day I would be charged with charting the course of the organization’s actions. So I ask, as we collectively go about planning, organizing, and coordinating our future, we remain humbled by the opportunity to be in each other’s company and remain dedicated to our mission. Therefore, please contribute your thoughts, ideas and suggestions for the benefit of this organization. Finally, I am a firm believer that leadership is a position of service. Not all of us can be leaders, however and I quote, “we all can serve.” But those of us who have the responsibility of being leaders must translate the idea of leadership into that of service.
